How to teach English to a non-speaker?

I am a student of english teaching as a second language.. in Mexico. in my opinion.. the songs or something that they like.. it will help to understand the language.. you must find something that they like.. cartoons or any song..five days for learning english is not enough.. to learn the basic vocabulary it will take more time.. maybe 2 months or more.. because it depends of the age of the people.. children are easier to make them to learn another language.
