Am I wrong to feel hurt by this..........................…

Our children can break our hearts cant they ?? I was and still am going thru some of the same things you are..... son got involved with a )*(&^^&%^% , cant say the word, but ya know what I mean...... they had a child together and we got pushed OUT of our sons life, little by little, and we have not seen the baby in over a year now...... son is living with us, broke off the relationship with her, but the pain he caused us is still very much real...... it just takes time.... anyway, my husband and I backed off while he was in that relationship, we just waited...... that is tall we and you can do..... the son is an adult and must make his own mistakes and reap the consequences of them....... we love our children but they must live their OWN lives now......... it hurts, I know !!!! but in the end I now your son will be like mine and return to you.... just back off and let him live his life...... his other children will do what they need to do or say when the time is right and they are older.... but then maybe he will come around by then ??? just pray and love them all as best you can..........
