My Malamute/Wolf mix Wont listen to me!?

I've only had him for about 2 months and he's 5 years old. He comes from a good bloodline. And all he does is sit around until he gets out. But still then he won't listen! I call his name(Blew) and he ignores me he doesn't even look at me.
