My 'uncle ray' is coming this month! what should i do?

I dont think you necessarily have much of an obligation here. It sounds like he invited himself and thats that. Don't rearrange your life. Be pleasant, have some drinks in the fridge. Drum up some old memories, things to talk about, but if he's planning on staying with you, thats just really presumptuous. Just chill out and, who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be the coolest old dude you ever met. It could be a lot of fun just sitting around talking about people, bec right now, as far as you know, the only thing you have in common are family. Just be yourself, there is no right way or wrong way to act.
