What will make me more appeal to colleges?

I'm trying to get into Boston University to major in Aerospace Engineering. To be honest, my resume sucks. The only extracurricular activities I have are baseball as a freshman and the founder of a spanish club. I've done no community service and I've never had a job. I plan to join a science club for senior year. In the mean time, what should I do now/over the summer? Does it look better to get a job as a landscaper or do community service at the library? Any recommendations?
