Is it possible to get parasites from the ocean?

I went on fishing trip with my family to Galveston, Texas. While down there I decided to head to the beach. Because of increased hurricane activity down there they placed large mounds of rocks in the shallow area of the beach. I tried climbing on some of those and they were very slippery. I slipped many times on them and was badly cut on my body, including my feet. Its now been a week since that happened and I have been feeling like I am being bitten by something but when I look where I am feeling it there is nothing there. I have also been very sick to my stomach the last couple of days and have been feeling hot and sweating. Could it be possible that I have parasites crawling in me? Should I see a doctor?
