I'm a Christian, but I don't agree with everything the Bible states.?

I believe the Bible is self-contradictory in many ways. For example, the old testament shows an often angry and wrathful God, while Jesus speaks of a caring, understanding and merciful God in the gospels. And I also don't believe in hell. There is nothing a single man can do, no matter how selfish or cruel, that can make him deserve eternal suffering. I also believe in intelligent design and the acceptance of s. It's God's job to judge people, not ours. And because I believe in a caring, understanding God, I know he doesn't judge someone by their ual orientation, skin color, political views or religion. It's when we contribute positive things to the world that God smiles upon us. I sometimes look down on conservative christians. Jesus himself frowned upon the hypocritical Pharisees, who followed the Jewish laws strictly.
