Why are guys so nosey into personal business?

like some guy is asking me about my life (which really, honestly, I'm still a virgin and I told him that) so I don't know... I'm just wondering why some guys would be so curious... is it cause they want something from me? or just plain curiosity? I'm confused and a little disturbed?
