How serious is a dry nose on a kitten?
I've heard it said many times before that a dry nose on a cat or dog means they're not healthy. Well, I've had a kitten for about a week now, and his nose is always dry. He's 10 weeks old, and the runt of the litter. But, he's not unhealthy by any means! He's very playful, purrs, eats and drinks, sleeps. Everything a normal kitten does. I had a sick kitten before and I know they don't do any of these things. Only thing is, this kitten has had runny poo since I got him. But, it doesn't seem to be affecting him negatively at all. I gave him dewormer the day after I got him, and I'm going to give him more a week from today. From everything I read, I think that's all that's causing his diarrhea. There's also blood in the poo sometimes, but it's bright red and I read that that's nothing to worry about because it's coming from his lower intestine, near the rectum. ANYWAYS, my main question is, is a dry nose really all that serious?? I just felt like I had to explain the situation a bit.
